I used the Myers-Briggs form Q Type Indicator assessment to help define my personality type. A description of my personality type, ISTP, is below along with a link to my full results.

ISTP

ISTPs tend to be cool onlookers, quiet and reserved. They observe and analyze with detached curiosity. They seek efficiencies and thus find shortcuts to avoid wasted efforts. They are usually interested in cause and effect, in how and why things work, and in organizing facts using logical principles.
